4. Has a Norton application or a McAfee application Always been installed on the computer since y'all bought information technology?

Hi Cordell - I'grand Greg, a volunteer and viii yr Windows MVP who will try to help you.
Rather than spending too much more time footling I'd simply Clean Reinstall the printer which always works, lasts longer and actually saves time:
1) Power upwardly the printer, if wired unplug information technology'due south USB cable from PC.
two) Right click Beginning push button in Windows 8/10 to open Apps and Features (or in Windows vii type it in Commencement Search) to Uninstall all the printer software. Restart.
three) Next copy and paste in Showtime search box: printui /south /t2 (Note that in that location is 1 infinite before each forward slash).
4) Right click result to Run as Administrator.
5) Open the Print Server properties, Remove the printer'south drivers for this printer and for whatever other printers you don't use presently.
